My name is Maurizio Attanasi. I’m a software engineer, a technology enthusiast, sometimes a teacher, but always a staunch supporter of the Never Stop Learning attitude. I’m married to a wonderful woman, and I have the most beautiful daughter on earth.
This blog was born and is still my favorite note-keeping tool rather than a self-advertising instrument.
I was a software engineer and coding architect at Borè S.r.l., a small but fast-growing self-publishing company based in Lecce, one of the most beautiful towns in the south of Italy, owner of the self-publishing platform YouCanPrint. During that period I supervised the cloud migration of some of the core funcionalities of the on-premise back-end software, designing and developing some microservices currently running Azure.
Before Borè S.r.l. was the Chief Architect at Memento S.r.l. For almost two years where I was responsible for the integration of a custom Virtual Reality System with a military simulation and training software VBS3.
Before Memento, I worked as a Software engineer and Machine Vision Specialist at Masmec S.p.A., a leading company in the automotive field, for almost 9 years coming from a 6-year experience as an Industrial Automation Researcher at the Italian National Research Council C.N.R..
Maurizio Attanasi is a computer engineer who currently works at Mermec S.p.A. a world leader in the sector of high tech solutions for the railway and steel industry.
He lives in Carmiano, a small town a few kilometers from Lecce. He earned a master’s degree in electronic engineering from Polytechnic of Bari.
